Story
I consider myself a citizen of the world.
Twelve years ago, I stepped outside of the United States for the first time, and my life was forever changed. I've spent the majority of my career studying people and culture, spanning five continents and fifty-two countries. I've found deep experiential perspective to be immensely valuable to the work I do, as well as co-designing solutions with every stakeholder. My experiences working and living alongside diverse groups of people makes me proud to be a global citizen. I embrace diversity, different perspectives, and new ideas.
I care about people and impact.
My skill set has focused on building the capacity of people, by giving them tools to achieve their full potential, and working with institutions that provide them with resources to make their dreams a reality. Impact and innovation are core pillars to who I am as a person, and how I define my work. I seek to disrupt the status quo to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I eat strategy for breakfast.
Nothing can be achieved without a good structure and pathway forward. I'm obsessed with data and how it can be utilized to impact organizations, programs, and people. I have direct consulting and business operations experience in competitive landscape analyses, new product development, and financial modeling. My research experience is both quantitative and qualitative in nature, including desk research, ethnographic interviews, financial forecasting, business case modeling, and workshops. Please reach out below to see my portfolio of work.
My five values:
Passion. I have a collaborative spirit and infectious energy- and I bring 150% of it to everything I do.
Adventure. I've always marched to the beat of my own drum and taken the road less traveled. I am stimulated by new adventures, projects, and insights.
Innovation. I infuse creativity and innovation into all parts of my life, and have been called an out-of-the-box thinker by peers and colleagues. I greatly value new perspectives and ideas.
Empathy. I intentionally design all-inclusive projects and experiences with the end user in mind. I always place myself in the shoes of whomever I work with, whether a rural farmer in Kenya or CEO of an internationally-renowned company.
Impact. I am obsessed with the end goal and tracking metrics to measure success. I strive to create something long-lasting and meaningful.

Background
Duke University
MBA Candidate at the Fuqua School of Business | 2018 - 2020
Duke University's Fuqua School of Business is one of the premier business schools in the world. I chose Duke University given the strength of their curriculum, their global and diverse class, and their devotion to international business.
#1 US MBA Rankings - Businessweek
#15 Global MBA Rankings - Financial TimesGlobal College at Long Island University
May 2010 | B.A. in Global Studies | GPA 3.9
A unique and experiential education program that enables students to base 3.5 of their 4 years of study abroad. Recently featured in the New York Times as a higher education trailblazer.
I intentionally chose Global College (now LIU Global) to step outside of my comfort zone and pursue academia in an experiential setting, studying and living in Taiwan, Thailand, India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, and Paraguay. Specifically, I conducted ethnographic research while exploring the efficacy of micro-finance at MFIs Grameen Bank and Fundación Paraguaya. I wrote my thesis on social entrepreneurship, using a spring internship with Acumen as a model, which won the Overseer's Award for best thesis of the 2010 graduating class. I was selected for the Dean's Merit Scholarship for 2009 & 2010, and graduated with a concentration in Economic Development.
